BETTE GLASS - Martha Elizabeth Howard Glass, age 82, resident of Fairfax, VA died July 15, 2012 at her home. She was born in Mecklenburg Co, NC to the late William Hawkins Howard and Martha Pearl Ware Howard. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Donna Soulen. Mrs. Glass was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Indialantic, FL. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 58 years: Bruce U. Glass, Fairfax, VA Son: Daniel E. Glass and wife Doris, York, SC Daughters: Paula Soulen and husband William, Irving, TX Deborah Glass, Fairfax, VA Son-in-law: Raymond Soulen, Brookfield, WI Brother: William Howard and wife Louise, Wake Forest, NC Seven Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: El Bethel United Methodist Church, Friday, July 20, 2012 2:00 P.M. Rev. Bruce Hobson, officiating.

VISITATION: 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 20, 2012 prior to the service in the fellowship hall of the church.

INTERMENT: El Bethel United Methodist Church, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
