CHARLES LEE “CHARLIE” MASHBURN - Charles Lee “Charlie” Mashburn, age 70, resident 1717 Shelby Road, Kings Mountain, NC died July 20, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. He was born in Bryson City, NC to the late Jesse “Ed” Mashburn. Mr. Mashburn served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was past commander of the American Legion Post 155 and the VFW 9811, Kings Mtn. NC.

SURVIVORS:Mother: Edna Collins Mashburn, Kings Mtn. NC

Brother: Clinton Mashburn, Charlotte, NC

Sister: Ann Anderson and husband Bob, Gastonia, NC

Nieces and nephews: Keith Mashburn, Steve Mashburn, Doug Mashburn, Scott Wiliams, Jesse Jones, Ernest Mashburn, Luther Mashburn, Robbie Gunn, Brandy Sauls

Kim Deal and Tim Sanders, Kings Mtn. NC Kim was considered and treated like a daughter by Charlie

Lifelong Friend: Jimmy Littlejohn, Kings Mtn. NC

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Sunday, July 22, 2012 3:00 P.M. Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

VISITATION: 1:30 – 2:30 P.M. Sunday, July 22, 2012 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mtn. NC

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Veteran’s Garden, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
