A. G. Adams, 89, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on April 30, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Gus Adams and Anner Henderson Adams and was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Annie Mae Adams, brothers, Henry, Ed, Bill and R.J. Adams, and his sisters Lilly Mae Black and Dolly Cash. A.G. was a member of Midview Baptist Church where he served many years as a Deacon. He was very active in his church and sang in the choir. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved tinkering with lawnmowers. A.G. was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

                                 Timmy Dean Adams and wife Angie, Kings Mountain, NC
                 Daughter: Sheila Willcox and husband Mark, Kings Mountain, NC
           Grandchildren: Mitchell Adams and wife Crystal, Stephanie Mote and husband Matthew, Tabatha Whittington and husband Lee, Windi Gerber and husband Dave, Erika Adams and Khristian Adams
Great Grandchildren: Elijah, Jacob, Isaac, Piper, Madyson, Gracie, Chase, Reese and Graham
FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, May 4, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Midview Baptist Church with Pastors Mike Rice, Dennis Harmon and Timmy Whitaker officiating
VISITATION: Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Midview Baptist Church
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
