Charlene Anita Williams Hamrick, 60 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away July 10, 2017 at her home.  Born in Cleveland  County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Floyd Williams  and Nellie Mae Pearson Williams  She was also preceded in death by  her husband William Howard “Rick” Hamrick   and sister Shelia W. Rowan.   Charlene was a  loving mother and grandmother and friend. 

SURVIVORS: Daughter:  Christina “Christy” Mae Hutchins and husband Chris, Kings Mountain, NC sisters:  Elaine Watts and husband Mike, Gaffney, SC;

Barbara Strain and husband Rick, Gaffney, SC

Frances Laughter, Denver, NC

Grandchildren: Allison Taylor Jones; Alexis “Brooke” Parrish and husband Nathan; Ethan Hutchins;

Great-grandson:  Elias

FUNERAL SERVICE:  Thursday, July 13, 2017, 10:00 AM, Christian Freedom Baptist Church, Kings Mountain,  NC, with Rev. Mike Chambers officiating.

VISITATION: Wednesday, July 12, 2017, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
