DONALD WAYNE SHORT

Donald Wayne Short, 79 of Shelby, NC, passed away on October 31, 2017 at CMC Pineville, Pineville NC. Born in Cleveland County NC, he was Son of the late Paul Short and Della Barnes Short. He was also preceded in death by Brothers, Ray Short, Jerry Short and Ken Short. Donald was retired from the textile industry in Shelby. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Shelby and a very active member of the BBen's Knob Beagle Club at Bellwood where he was a State Representative for several years. Donald loved working in the yard and served his country in the North Carolina National Guard. Special thanks to Chris Monroe and staff at Monroe Tire for all of their support.
