DATELINE:　 KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA

Evelyn Ruth Creswell, 85, of Kings Mountain, NC, went home to be with the Lord on March 02, 2018 at Caromont Healthcare System in Gastonia, NC. Born in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Kermit Jefferson Huffstetler and Velma Huffstetler and was also preceded in death by her brother Kermit Jefferson Huffstetler Jr. Evelyn was an active member of Pleasant City Church, formerly Putnam Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. She worked in the health care industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant and retired from Kings Mountain Hospital after 34 years of service. Evelyn was very active at the Patrick Senior Center as a faithful member and volunteer. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid sports fan. She was a participant in the Cleveland County Senior Games and loved to golf. Evelyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant City Church with Pastor Bryan Glisson, Pastor Gary Marburger and her grandson, Pastor Chancey Moss officiating.

VISITATION: Monday, March 5, 2018 from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM prior to the service in the sanctuary of Pleasant City Church, Shelby North Carolina.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
