 Ilene Gantt Sanders
 Ilene Gantt Sanders, 71, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 09, 2019 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Robert Gantt and Thelma Cornwell Gantt and was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Gantt. Ilene was a member of El Bethel United Methodist Church. She was retired from Milliken and Co.  after more than 30 years of dedicated service. Ilene enjoyed traveling with Willard tours and loved visiting Disney World and the beach. She was a loving wife, mother and Grammy. Ilene will be missed dearly  by her family and friends.
SURVIVORS: Husband of 6 years: Steve Sanders, Kings Mountain, NC
Sons: Philip Wesley Gary and wife Tammy, Mooresville, NC, and William Robert Gary and wife Nicole, Spartanburg, SC
Daughters: Ann Marie Wright and husband, Lenny, Kings Mountain, NC and Penny Dowda and husband, Charlie, Kings Mountain, NC
Sisters: Sheila Barnwell and husband, Richard, Bat Cave, NC and Robin Dobyns and husband Roy, Boone, NC
Grandchildren: MacKenzie, Connor, Maddison and Ethan Gary, Landon, Lexi and Livi Wright, Charley, Silas and Luke Dowda
FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at El Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Julie Roberts officiating
VISITATION: Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:50 AM prior to the service in the Fellowship Hall of El Bethel United Methodist Church
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
