Jerry Bentley Smith, 71 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on September 05, 2017 at Testa Family Hospice House Kings Mountain, NC.  Born in Gaston County, He was the Son of the late Garnet Smith and Vessie Mae (Lewallen) Smith.  He was preceded in death by brothers Charles, Harve and Barney Smith .  Jerry was an avid fisherman who loved his Daughter, grand kids and dogs.

SURVIVORS:  Daughter, Charlotte Smith Cook, Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Sister Betty Smith Thrift of Kings Mountain, Joyce Smith Scates, Ranlo,North Carolina, Brother David Smith, Belmont, NC

Grandsons, Matthew Cook and wife Elizabeth Cook, Shelby, Nathan Cook and Jordan Cook, Casar, North Carolina

Two great grandchildren Macey and Gunner Cook, Shelby, NC

Honorary Grandchildren, Ricky and Tasha, Logan, Laney and Sawyer Haskin, Shelby, NC
