LONITA D. KINNEY
After a courageous battle with COPD, Lonita D. Kinney, 80 of Kings Mountain, went home to be with her Lord on January 28, 2018. Born in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Frances Dryer and Ann Bradley Dryer. She was also preceded in death by her last husband Stanley Kinney, brother Frank Dryer and sister Ann Dryer. Lonita was a devout Christian and member of Faith Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and was retired from the textile industry. She was a loving mother, grand-mother, great-grand-mother, sister and friend.
SURVIVORS: Son: James H. Mitchem, Jr. (Brenda Seawright), Kings Mountain;
Daughter: Christi Rossi, Magnolia Springs, AL; Son: Tim MItchem, TX; Son: Kenny Mitchem (Barbara), Kings Mountain;

5 grandchlden and 5 great-grandchildren
FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, Feb 1, 2018, 2:00 PM, Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. J.R. Robbins
VISITATION: 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home
