WILLIAM THOMAS "TOM" BERRY

William Thomas "Tom" Berry, 86, born December 15, 1931, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 3, 2018. He was the son of the late John Frank and Viola Wilson Berry of Kings Mountain NC. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Lou Ann Berry, brothers Isaac Berry, John Frank Berry and sister Mary Grace Berry Moore. He served in the US Army and was employed at Foote Mineral for 32 years. He loved tractors, farming, gardening and most of all sharing his love for these with others.

SURVIVORS: Loving wife of 63 years, Annie Mae Childers Berry, Kings Mountain, NC;

3 Sons: Tommy Berry and wife Beverly, Kings Mtn, NC;

Charlie Berry and wife Debbie, Kings Mtn, NC;

Andy Berry and wife Angela, Kings Mtn, NC;

1 Daughter: Brenda Berry Cogdell and husband Johnny, Kings Mtn, NC

Grandchildren: Amanda Williams and husband John, Suzanne Poston and husband Jonathon, William Berry and wife Ashley, Taylor and Anthony Berry, Christopher Speicher and wife Laura, Michael and Joshua Speicher, JJ, Casey and Paige Cogdell

Great Grandchildren: Levi and Luke Williams, Emily, Harper and Stella Poston, and Abby Speicher

Brother: Dave Berry and Wife Joan

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00, Tuesday, February 6, 2018, Dixon Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Randy Patterson, Graham Wood and Brian Elwell officiating.

VISITATION: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Harris Funeral Home, Monday, February 5, 2018

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery Kings Mountain NC
