Bobby ”Bubba” Dean Tate, age 79, resident of Kings Mountain, passed away on April 17, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Rutherford County to the late Enoch A. Tate and Mattie Elizabeth Wilson. Bobby was also preceded in death by his daughter Sheila White, brother, Charles Junior Tate and sisters Hazel Pearson and Betty Bridges. Bobby was an avid Honda Gold Wing enthusiast and was a retired machinist with Sherrils Industiries.

Wife of 31 years: Kay Walker Tate, Kings Mtn, NC;

1 son: Jimmy Tate and wife Teena, Kings Mountain, NC;

3 daughters: Barbara Barley and husband Mike, Catawba, SC;

Leslie Adams and husband David, Clover, SC;

Tonya Huskey, and husband Edward, Mooresboro, SC;

10 grandchildren – Cody & KayLee Medlin, Justin Adams, Tyler White, Jimmy & Dale Holland, Jamie & Lisa Tate, Angel Farmer, Nikki Foster.

Niece: Amanda Tate

FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, April 20, 2017, 11 AM, at Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel
