Clyde Ezra Conner

CLYDE EZRA CONNER - Clyde Ezra Conner, age 86, of 102 Heather Lane, Kings Mountain, NC, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center, Rutherfordton, NC. Born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Charlie Pinkney Conner and Florence Morrison Conner. He was also preceded in death by brothers Fred Conner, Johnny Conner, Ernest Conner and sisters Pearl Bates, Ethel Neal, Eunice Lovelace, Bertha Blalock and Ada Conner. He retired from the textile industry and was a veteran of the United States Army Air Force during World War II where he served as an aircraft mechanic in the 23rd Fighter Squadron.
