NAME: EMILY HERNDON
- Emily Herndon, age 92, a resident of High Point Manor, High Point, NC, formerly of Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2014 at her residence. She was born in York Co., SC, daughter of the late Leroy and Mammie Ashe. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Broadus Pinkney Herndon and her brother Bill Ashe.
Mrs. Herndon retired from the former Home Savings and Loan in Kings Mountain and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Kings Mountain where she was active in previous years.

Grandchildren; Dr. Kim Sepich and husband Bryan, Winston-Salem
Allen William Wyatt and wife Lori and great grandchild, Andrew, Pratt, Kansas
