H. P. HAYES - H. P. Hayes, age 86, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died June 29, 2014 at his home. He was born in St. Pauls, NC. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Bennett Hayes. He was the founder and owner of Hayes Electric Supply, Inc. Kings Mtn. NC. Mr. Hayes served in the United States Merchant Marines.

SURVIVORS: Son: Gus B. Hayes and wife Karen, Kings Mtn. NC Daughters: Anne Hayes, New York, NY Lisa Hayes Ruppe, and husband Charles, Kings Mtn. NC Granddaughter: Pamela Ruppe Friday and husband Tim, Kings Mtn. NC 3 Great Grandchildren: Seth, Logan, and Colin

FUNERAL SERVICE: Services will be held at a later date.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
