JAMES R. "JIM" MCKINNEY, JR. - James R. "Jim" McKinney, Jr., age 67, a resident of Kings Mountain, NC, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Kings Mountain Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late James Robert McKinney, Sr. and Pearla Smith McKinney Capper of Havertown, PA. He was a retired automotive technician, assistant manager of Firestone Tire Service Center, he loved music, working on cars, football and animals and working on his home. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grand-father and a friend who will be greatly missed. Served in the US Navy in 66-67 and was a member of a Masonic Lodge in Upper Darby, PA

Grandchildren: Kristin Cordle, Hannah Parker, Jessica McKinney Steven James McKinney, Jr., James Gregory McKinney, Jr., Jacob Lawrence McKinney, Jonathan James McKinney Great Grandchildren: Cameron Cordle, Gabriel Cordle, Eliza Cordle, Joshua Odell, Austin Parker, William Parker, Abel McKinney
