Larry D. "Tripp" Slycord, Iii

LARRY D. SLYCORD, III "TRIPP" - Larry D. Slycord, III "Tripp" age 42, resident of Kings Mountain, NC passed away December 2, 2014 at his home. He was born in Cleveland Co. NC. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Dean Slycord, Jr., Maternal grandparents; Joe and Ollie Wheeler, Paternal grandparents; Andrew and Lillian Slycord, and great grandmother, Essie "Nunnie" Stepp. Tripp was a member of East Gold Street Wesleyan Church. He loved to spend time outdoors, including hunting and fishing. He was a good hearted person who loved his kids and family, he will be greatly missed. Tripp, Mom and Dad love you very much.

SURVIVORS: Mother: Gloria "Butch" Wheeler Slycord, Kings Mtn. NC Father: Larry Slycord, Hollister, MO Son: Josh Slycord, Raleigh, NC Daughter: Katie Slycord, Mooresboro, NC Brother: Travis D. Slycord and wife Amy, Kings Mtn. NC Niece: Payton Slycord Numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

FUNERAL SERVICE: East Gold Street Wesleyan Church, Friday, December 5, 2014 3:00 P.M. Rev. Scott Wheeler and Rev. Scott Whitney, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening, December 4, 2014 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina and other times at the home.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
