Lewis Alexander Jenkins

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA LEWIS ALEXANDER JENKINS Lewis Jenkins, 81 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on June 13, 2018 at his home.  Born in Gaston County, NC, he was the son of the late Roby Jonas Jenkins and Shirley Stewart Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Gay Jenkins.  Lewis was also preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy McGill and Colleen Birchfield and a brother Ronald Jenkins Sr. He enjoyed raising beagles, woodworking, reading and gardening in his spare time. Lewis was a devoted family man. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
