Shirley (Gantt) Mullinax

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Shirley Gantt Mullinax Shirley Gantt Mullinax, 85, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on June 16, 2021 at Testa Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Paris and Elizabeth Lail Gantt and was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Eugene "Gene" Mullinax. Shirley was also preceded in death by her son, Scottie Mullinax and her brother, Holland Gantt. She was a longtime member of Family Worship Center. Shirley retired from the textile industry after many years of service. Always active, Shirley loved to be on the go. She enjoyed beach trips, shopping and listening to gospel music. Shirley was a wonderful and loving mother, sister, and grandmother to her many grandchildren. SURVIVORS: Daughter: Diane Parker, Kings Mountain, NC Sister: Pat Gantt Carroll (W.J.), Kings Mountain, NC Grandchildren: Angie Mullinax, Amanda Ramsey, and Gina Stewart, all of Kings Mountain, NC Great Grandchildren: Calem, Makayla, and Mackenzie Ross, Caden Mullinax, and Kaitlyn Mullinax Hopper Great-Great Grandchildren: Zaidyn and Zander Ross FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, June 21, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Family Worship Center with Reverend Dr. Roger Woodard officiating VISITATION: Monday, June 21, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM prior to the service in the church.
