Aileen Ware Costner

AILEEN WARE COSTNER - Aileen Ware Costner, age 87, resident of 117 Beta Place, Kings Mountain, NC died April 28, 2015 at her home. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late James William "Ben" Ware and Sally Carroll Ware. She was also preceded in death by her husband; James William Costner, brother; Bill Ware and sister; Leler Owensby. Mrs. Costner was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC and retired from Kings Mountain Knit and Fabric. She was a homemaker, loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed being a caregiver, cooking, quilting and crocheting.

SURVIVORS: Son: Kenneth E. Costner, Sr. and wife Martha, Kings Mtn. NC Daughters: Patricia "Pat" C. Mathis, Kings Mtn. NC Linda Conner, Kings Mtn. NC Brother: James Hershel Ware, Kings Mtn. NC Sisters: Sue Belk, Hazel Reynolds, and Estelle Sanders, all of Kings Mtn. NC 7 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Thursday, April 30, 2015 3:00 P.M. Rev. Joel Sanders, officiating.

VISITATION: 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, April 29, 2015 at Harris Funeral Home and other times at the home, 117 Beta Place, Kings Mtn. North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
