Aileene (Yarbro) Mcdaniel

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Aileene McDaniel Aileene McDaniel, 92, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on October 10, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center Gaston in Gastonia, NC. Born in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Haywood Hull Yarbro and Myrtle Hill Yarbro and was preceded in death by her husband of 10 years, Reid Bell and her husband of 57 years, G.L. McDaniel Jr. She was also preceded in death by her brother, A.V. Yarbro. Aileene was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain and loved being a member of the Gleaner B's Sunday School Class. She was a retired pairing supervisor at Mauney Hosiery where she worked for 47 years. Aileene enjoyed knitting, gardening and growing African Violets. She loved traveling and enjoyed participating in Willard's Tours. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
