Alda Faye Childers

ALDA FAYE CHILDERS - Alda Faye Childers, age 80, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died December 27, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late John Spearman and Laura Rice Spearman. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Earl Spearman, James Spearman, Glenn Spearman, and Raymond Spearman. Mrs. Childers was a member of Oak View Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC and was a retired office manager for C&C Heating and Cooling, Kings Mtn. NC.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 62 years: Robert Childers, Kings Mtn. NC Son: Bobby Childers and wife Joan, Kings Mtn. NC Daughter: Judy Childers Ramsey and husband Butch, Martinez, GA Sister: Letha Metcalf, Kings Mtn. NC 6 Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Oak View Baptist Church, Sunday, December 29, 2013 2:00 P.M. Rev. Billy Cooper and Rev. Ralph Sparrow, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday evening, December 28, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
