Annette (Moss) Short

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Annette Moss Short Annette Moss Short, , of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Grier and Annie Pruitt Moss and was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Junior Gene Short. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Sanders and Pat Cobb. Annette was a longtime member of Westover Baptist Church. She was always a wonderful provider for her family, placing her own needs behind the needs of her loved ones. Annette loved to cook and feed her family and friends delicious meals and desserts. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, working in her yard, reading Christian books, and working word search puzzles. Annette was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed dearly by her family and friends. SURVIVORS: Daughters: Kim Short Loftin (Fred), and Selena Short Fite (Keith), both of Kings Mountain, NC Son: Rodney Short, Kings Mountain, NC Siblings: JB Moss (Nancy), and Margaret Austin (Wayne), both of Kings Mountain, NC Grandchildren: Brad Short (Michelle), Brian Short (Lori), Bobby Short (Angela), Kayla Williams (Jonathan), and AnnaBeth Davis Numerous Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild on the way         Brother-in-law: Marvin Cobb, Kings Mountain, NC GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Rest Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Whittington officiating INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery
