Arthur "Eddie" Edward Haas Jr.

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Arthur "Eddie" Edward Haas Jr. Arthur Edward Haas Jr. (Eddie) walked into the presence of his Lord and Savior, April 25, 2022. He was born in Gaston County, NC and was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Edward Haas Sr. Eddie proudly worked for Freightliner Corporation for 35 years, and retired May 1, 2020. He served his country honorably in the US Navy and possessed a deep love for America. Eddie and his wife attended Lighthouse Pentecostal Holiness church for 33 years. While attending, he served as a Deacon and was a Praise Team member for 29 years. Eddie also served as the SSCE Director and worked with the Boys Club Class. Currently a member of Family Worship Center, Eddie served as a Deacon and worked with the Worship Team Ministry. He was faithful to God in all he had. He loved his wife and children deeply.  Eddie enjoyed spending time gardening and loved helping others. His guidance and love will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Patricia Haas of Cherryville. Daughter, Julie Hyder and (Neal) of Cherryville. Son, Arthur Edward Haas III, (Artie) and (Nicole) of Shelby. Mother: Sallie Jones His 4 grandsons that were all his best buddies: Zachary, Karson, Garrett, and Gavin.
