She was born in Yancy Co, NC to the late James Horne and Virginia Harris Horne. She was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Skidmore, Jr and wife Melissa, Baltimore, MD Brother: Michael Horne, Prosperity, SC 4 Grandchildren: Nicole Scism and Michael, Lenny Matthew, Jr., Danny Skidmore and Kelly, Rachel Brown and Jason. 8 Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Sunday, January 25, 2015 3:30 P.M. Rev. Jimmy Maney and Rev. Tim Barrett, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:30 - 3:00 P.M. Sunday afternoon, January 25, 2015 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina other times at the home.

INTERMENT: Holly Hills Memorial Gardens, Baltimore, Maryland GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Thursday, January 29, 2015
