Barbara Ann Wallace Evans, 80, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on December 20, 2025, at Robin Johnson House in Dallas, NC. She was born January 5, 1945, in Rutherford County, NC, daughter of the late James and Elsie Fox Wallace and was preceded in death by her siblings, Wanda Galbreath, Alfred Wallace and Patsy Walker. Barbara Ann was a faithful homemaker, wife, and mother. She was a devoted Christian and served for more than 30 years at Union Road Church of God and Dallas Church of God as a Sunday school teacher. Barbara Ann also led Bible studies at several local nursing homes for many years. She was an avid reader and a talented poet. She lived her life serving others and the Lord. Barbara Ann was a wonderful wife, loving mother and devoted grandmother to 2 generations of grandchildren. Her faithfulness, sweet spirit and love will continue to be cherished by all those who knew and cared for Barbara Ann.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 45 years, Daniel Nelson Evans

Children: Regina Gulledge, Gerig Huggins, Robert Huggins (Ginger), LeeAnn Evans, and Nathan Wallace Evans

Siblings: Kevan Wallace (Cynthia) and Stella Manzoliollo (Russ)

Barbara is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: The family will hold a memorial service with full details to be announced at a later date.
