Barbara Dianne Hensley, 78, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on May 06, 2024 at Atrium Health Mercy in Charlotte, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, the only child of the late James Clifton and Ruby Irene Elliott Ledford and was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Ann Hensley, an infant daughter, and infant son. She was also preceded in death by a dear friend Brian L. Taylor and her beloved feline companion, Buttons, who gave Dianne countless days of love and fond memories. Dianne was a longtime former member and pianist at Bethany Baptist Church in Grover. She was a graduate of Gardener Webb University and worked for many years at Dixie Industrial and several other companies in clerical positions. Dianne was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed collecting memorabilia. Dianne will be remembered fondly by all those who knew and loved her.

Granddaughters: Lauren, Madison, and Anna Hensley, all of Grover, NC

Cousins: Joyce Sheaffer and husband Clifford, Earl NC

Harold "Sonny" Wright and wife Judy, Blacksburg, SC, Elizabeth Brackney, Norfolk, VA, and Freddie and Eddie Elliott, Gaffney, SC

Aunt: Jeanette Elliott, Gaffney, SC

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friday, May 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Patterson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 2107 Cleveland Avenue, Grover, NC

Mrs. Hensley will Lie in Repose on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Harris Funeral Home.
