Barbara Barker Tindall, 97, of Kings Mountain, NC, entered her eternal home on June 14, 2025 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. She was born March 27, 1928 in Iredell County, NC, daughter of the late Dewey Watson Barker and Belle Ruff Barker and was preceded in death by here husband, Thomas Dexter Tindall Sr. and her sister, Anna Bell Loudermilk. Barbara accepted Christ into her life at an early age and had a deep prayer life from that time on. Barbara attended many churches including the Lutheran, Methodist, and ARP church before taking root in the Baptist Church. After graduation from Troutman High School, Barbara attended the Shelby Hospital Nursing School where she graduated in 1948. After graduating Nursing school, Barbara married and began her family. She worked as a nurse until her retirement in 1989 from Shelby Hospital. Barbara was very artistic and taught many art classes. She was a talented painter and loved working with ceramics. She was a devoted member of Kings Mountain Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 35 years. Her faith was an inspiration to everyone who knew Barbara. She was a faithful wife, loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Her guidance, love, and kindness will be remembered by everyone who knew and loved her.

SURVIVORS: Sons: Thomas Dexter Tindall Jr. (Terry Wells),

Christopher Lane Tindall Sr. (Roxanne), and Gregory Scott Tindall (Jan)

Grandchildren: Leistey Upton (Matt), Lane Tindall (Lacey), Christa Tindall, and Jana Tindall (Stephen Parker)

Great Grandchildren: Cambria Ballenger, Jae Ballenger, Briggs Vanover, and Nahvi Upton

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Kings Mountain Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Whitesides officiating

VISITATION: Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM prior to the service at the church

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
