Betty (Hardin) Allen

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Betty Hardin Allen Betty Hardin Allen, 91, of Grover, NC, passed away on July 12, 2022 at White Oak Manor in Shelby, NC. She was born in Rutherford County, NC, daughter of the late Roy Logan and Pinkie Lee Fortenberry Hardin and was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Billy Gene Allen. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Forrest Gold Hardin. Betty retired from Blacksburg Floor Covering. She was a Charter Member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church where she served more than 40 years as a Sunday School teacher and sang in the church choir. Betty enjoyed working puzzle books and babysitting her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply. Her dedication to her church family was evident by the love she has for them. Betty was a wonderful person whose love and spirit will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her.
