BETTY CONNER BOLIN - Betty Conner Bolin, age 83, a resident of Blacksburg, died December 14, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. She was born in Cleveland Co., NC, daughter of the late Charles Pinkney and Florence Morrison Conner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl M. Bolin and 9 brothers and sisters. She was retired from Minette Mills in Grover, NC and a loyal and faithful member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Grover, NC where she served as Sunday school secretary, choir member and taught Mission Friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

SURVIVORS: Son; Mike Bolin and wife Chris, Shelby, NC Daughter; Wanda Haynes and husband James, Shelby, NC Brothers; Gene Conner, Grover Bill Conner and wife Hazel, Greenville, SC Sister; Bonnie Collins, Blacksburg Grandchildren; Jeff Haynes and wife Michelle Jason Haynes and wife Angie Amanda Bolin Prince and husband J.R. Great-Grandchildren; Emily Haynes, Kailey Pennington, Tayla Tesseneer, Miles Haynes, Shelby Rae Prince

FUNERAL SERVICE: Allen Memorial Baptist Church, Grover, NC Saturday, December 17, 2011 2:00 P.M. Rev. Joe Riley and Rev. Scott Hardin, officiating

VISITATION: 6:00-8:30, Friday evening, December 16, 2011 Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain and at other times at the home of the son, Mike Bolin, 2252 Ellis Rd., Shelby, NC

INTERMENT: Allen Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Grover, NC
