Betty Ruth (Alexander) Hope

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Betty Hope Betty Hope, 83, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on November 16, 2020 at her home. Betty was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Fred and Frances Blackwell Alexander and was preceded in death by a son, James P. Hope, and a daughter, Donna F. Short. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Jerry Alexander, Judy Childers and Ethel Boone. Betty attended Harvest Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She was an avid cat lover and enjoyed spending time in the mountains. Betty was a wonderful homemaker, loving wife, kind mother and doting grandmother and great grandmother to her many grandchildren. Betty's kindness and sweet spirit will be missed dearly by many.
