Betty Upchurch Roark, 70, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on June 26, 2022. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Marvin Upchurch and Doris Upchurch, 92, of Kings Mountain, She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. Betty spent most of her years working at White Oak Manor Kings Mountain where she loved and cared for many people in her community. She was a very loving, caring, and thoughtful Mother, Grandmother "Nanna", and friend to so many. Betty loved spending time loving and spoiling her children and grandchildren. Her love and kindness will never be forgotten.

Betty was preceded in death by Father: Marvin Upchurch, and Sister, Shirley Wright, both of Kings Mountain, NC

Betty is survived by her Husband: William Lawrence "Billy" Roark Jr., Kings Mountain, NC. Mother: Doris Upchurch, Kings Mountain, NC Daughter: Holly York and husband Travis York, Cherryville NC. Son: William Lawrence "Tripp" Roark III and Melissa Roark, Kings Mountain, NC Sisters: Barbara Biddix, Kings Mountain, NC, Dale Wright and husband Luther Wright, Kings Mountain, NC Betty has Seven Wonderful and loving Grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish her memory.

Funeral Service: Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 3:00PM at Faith Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC

Visitation: Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service in the Church.

Interment: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
