Betty Elizabeth (Foster) Ross

DATELINE: SHELBY, NORTH CAROLINA Betty Elizabeth Ross Betty Elizabeth Ross, 68, of Shelby, NC, passed away on January 04, 2019 at Testa Family Hospice in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Spartanburg County, SC, to the late Ben Gold Foster and Eva Hattie Tucker Foster and was preceded in death by sisters, Minnie Foster and Janet Gibson. Betty was a member of Rhema Outreach Ministries in Kings Mountain where she served as treasurer. She was a very giving person and enjoyed making meals for the homeless. Betty loved shopping. She was an avid flower gardener and enjoyed making arrangements with the flowers she had grown. Betty enjoyed listening to gospel music and cherished her prayer time, often being found in her prayer room. She enjoyed cooking family meals and spending time around her table with her loved ones. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Betty will be missed dearly by her loving family, friends and her church family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Testa Hospice house for the exceptional care and compassion shown to their family.
