- Betty Hartsoe Sessoms, age 84, a resident of Kings Mountain, passed away August 23, 2014 at Willow Ridge, Rutherfordton, NC. Born in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Gus Hartsoe and Cora Gladden Hartsoe and was also preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Sessoms, Jr, a son, Randy Keith Sessoms, brother Gus Hartsoe, Jr., and sisters Sue Phillips and Martha Dobbins. She was retired from Armtex, Gastonia, NC. She attended Northside Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC and was a very humble and loving person.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Monday, August 25, 2014, 2:00 PM with Rev. Rick Asbury officiating.
VISITATION: 12:30 -1:30 prior to the service
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
