- Beulah Allen Costner, 82, resident of 314 Mallard Dr, Grover, NC, died December 23, 2010 at home. Born in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Austin Allen and Lillie Harvey Allen. She was also preceded in death by her husbands James ?Pinkey? White? and Neal Eugene Costner, brothers Willard Allen, Elmer Allen and William Allen. She was retired from Myrtle Mill, Gastonia, NC and was a former member of Eastside Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who enjoyed animals, cooking, gardening, flowers, visiting the mountains and the great outdoors. She loved to sing gospel music and shopping at flea markets. Granny was and will remain the bond that holds our family together.

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Gail Owens and Diane Philbeck, Grover, NC;
Brothers: J.D. Allen, Patterson Springs, NC.
4 Grandchildren: Steve Philbeck, Brian Philbeck, Wayne Carroll, Joanne Carroll
9 Great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, December 28, 2010, 3:00 PM, New Buffalo Baptist Church, Grover, NC with the Rev. Adam Green officiating.

VISITATION: 1:30 PM ? 3:00 PM prior to the service at New Buffalo Baptist Church Sanctuary and at other times at 314-1 Mallard Dr., Grover

INTERMENT: Grover Cemetery, Grover, North Carolina
