Beverly (Bumgardner) Scruggs

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Beverly Scruggs Beverly Scruggs, 66, of Kings Mountain, NC, entered her heavenly home on October 23, 2018 at Caromont Hospital in Gastonia, NC. Born in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Pressley Bumgardner and Ethel Faye Childers Bumgardner and was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Absher. Beverly retired from PSNC Energy after 28 years of faithful service. She was a faithful member of David Baptist Church where she enjoyed working with the praise team. Beverly was also the media specialist for her church. She loved her church family dearly. She was a former member and past NC President of I.A.A.P. and enjoyed cooking. Beverly was a loving wife, mother and Nana and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
