Billie Hope Hovis

BILLIE HOPE HOVIS - Billie Hope Hovis, age 56 resident of Kings Mountain, NC was taken too soon after a courageous battle with cancer on December 17, 2016 at her home. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Hope and step-father, Clyde Davis. Billie was employed for 15 years in human resources with Piedmont Plastic Surgery and Dermatology, Gastonia, NC. She was an amazing soul who loved everyone and was loved by everyone. She was a wonderful and loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly. She cherished the friendship of her work girls and Doctors.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 37 years: "Mucka" Terry Hovis, Kings Mtn. NC Son: Corey D. Hovis and fiancAC. Mindy Reynolds, Kings Mtn. NC Daughter: Sarah E. Hovis and fiancAC. Sage Luley, Kings Mtn. NC Mother: Joyce Fletcher Davis, Kings Mtn. NC Brother: Ray Hope Jr. and wife Patricia, Kings Mtn. NC Sister: Sarah Bridges and husband Jeff, Cherryville, NC Janet Brafford and fiancAC. Tim Ellis, Shelby, NC 4 Grandchildren: Matthew Morrow, Jr., Holden Hovis, Carson Hovis and Cambri Hovis. Numerous niece and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 1:00 P.M. Rev. Mike Chambers, officiating.

VISITATION: 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. Monday evening, December 19, 2016 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
