Bobbie Oxford Mraz, 82 of Kings Mountain, NC, went home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2017 at Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC. Born in Burke County NC. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Charles Earl and Juanita (Moore) Oxford. Bobbie was a graduate of Gardner Webb College and Furman University. She was a former English teacher and helped organize Western Carolina Center. She was a faithful member of Kings Mountain Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. SURVIVORS: Husband, Andrew Mraz, Kings Mountain, NC 2 Daughters: Vicki L. Mraz Bingham and husband Roger, Blacksburg, SC; Kerry Leigh Mraz, Gastonia, NC Brother: Charles Earl Oxford, Jr., Gastonia, NC Sister: Nancy Rhyne, Kings Mountain, NC; 1 grandson: Joseph Oliver Bingham, Blacksburg, SC Special Cousins: Rebecca Oxford Williams and Claude A. Oxford and special  niece, Jessica  Oxford Bevil.  FUNERAL SERVICE: Tuesday, December 26, 2017, 2:00 PM, Kings Mountain Baptist Church, with Pastor Tim Whitesides officiating.
