KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA NAME: BOBBIE BENNETT WELCH - Bobbie Bennett Welch, age 75, a resident of 412 Bennett Street, Kings Mountain, North Carolina, went home to be with Jesus, Friday, February 4, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospital. Born in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Theodore H. Bennett and the late Essie Sellers Bennett, widow of the late Everett Donald "Don" Welch, Sr., and was also preceded in death by her son Everett Donald "Don" Welch, Jr. She was retired from textiles, working at Park Yarn and Burlington Mills. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Kings Mountain, loved to cook and loved Gospel and Bluegrass music. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

SURVIVORS: Son: Ricky Lynn Welch and wife Janice, Kings Mountain, NC Daughter: Linda "Lynn" Wilson and husband Bill, Denver, NC 3 grandchildren: Billy Anthony Wilson Jr., Mooresville, NC; Kimberly Michelle Wilson and Jeffrey Brian Wilson, of Denver, NC. 1 great-grandchild, Cameron Wilson. FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris memorial Chapel, Tuesday February 8, 2011, 1:00 PM with the Rev. James Hamrick and Rev. Kelly J. Kowalczyk, Sr., officiating.

VISITATION: Monday, February 7, 2011, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Harris Funeral Home and at other times at the home of the son Ricky Welch, 412 Bennett St, Kings Mountain, NC.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
