NAME: Bobby Dean Hawkins
- Bobby Dean Hawkins, age 52, resident of 106 Spurgen Dr., Kings Mountain, NC, died January 8, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Born in Duval County Florida, he was the son of the late Billy Gene Hawkins, Jr. and Shirley Elizabeth Nowlin and was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Taylor Hawkins. A member of El Bethel United Methodist Church, Kings Mountain, NC and ha been employed with Duke Energies for 25 years. He was a loving husband and father who loved Carolina basketball and loved his dogs Gracie and Zoey.

SURVIVORS: Wife of 26 years, Leslie Poteat Hawkins, Kings Mountain, NC
Sons: Kristopher Nowlin Hawkins, Raleigh, NC and Korey Alexander Hawkins, Kings Mountain, NC
Brother: Billy Hawkins, Jr. and David Wayne Hawkins, both of Cliffside, North Carolina.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: El Bethel United Methodist Church, Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Thursday, 3:00 PM January 13, 2011 with the Rev. Tom Jolly and Rev. Dan Burleyson officiating.

VISITATION: 1:30 PM- 2:30 PM prior to the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
