Brenda Kay (Cleary) Barker

DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Brenda Kay Barker Brenda Kay Barker, 76, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on June 08, 2019 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Leonard Cleary and Eloise Gregory Cleary and was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Vic Barker. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy and Johnny Cleary and her sister, Margaret Barker. Kay was a longtime and very active member of Kings Mountain Nazarene Church. She retired from the City of Kings Mountain after 18 years of service as a laboratory analyst in the water treatment department. Kay loved playing board games and traveling to the mountains and the beach. She was a life long caregiver and loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Kay will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
