DATELINE: GROVER, NORTH CAROLINA Brenda Jean Putnam Hall Brenda Jean Putnam Hall, 77, of Grover, NC, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2021 at her home. She was born in Cherokee County, SC, daughter of the late Walter Eugene and Mary Victoria Mullinax Putnam. Jeanie was a member of First Baptist Church in Grover. She worked for many years as an accomplished floral designer, creating beautiful arrangements. Jeanie was a wonderful cook and a published author of two cook books. At one time she authored a cooking column in the Gaffney Ledger newspaper. Jeanie loved her family and enjoyed nothing more than being a homemaker for them and her husband. In her spare time, Jeanie loved spending time outdoors camping and fishing. She was an avid nature lover and enjoyed feeding the wild turkey and deer that frequented her lawn. Her love, guidance, and compassion for others will be missed dearly by her beloved family and friends. SURVIVORS: Husband: Larry E.
