BRENDA JEAN KENNEDY

Brenda Jean Kennedy, 71 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 13, 2018 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.  Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Rob Jones and Bessie Davenport Jones.  She was preceded in death by her parents Rob Jones and Bessie Davenport Jones.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed shopping. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain.

SURVIVORS:  Husband of 56 years: Larry Kennedy; Daughters: Michelle Pinson, Savannah Ga; Crystal Prow (Richard) Gastonia, NC; Son: Michael Kennedy (Allison) KM NC; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; and one brother: Jerry Edwards NC

FUNERAL SERVICE:  Wednesday January 17, 2018, 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church , Kings Mountain, with Dr. John  Sloan officiating.

VISITATION: 9:30 AM -11:00 AM prior to the service on Wednesday at the church

INTERNMENT: Private Burial at Mountain Rest Cemetery
