Brenda Lee Thompson Jones, 65, of Grover, NC, passed away on March 06, 2026 at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. She was born November 7, 1960 in Volusia County, FL, daughter of the late Dewey and Betty Melton Thompson and was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Queen, her brother, Ronnie Thompson and her beloved canine companion, Bingo Jones. Brenda was of the Baptist faith. She worked in manufacturing at ABB Combustion Engineering for more than 15 years. After her retirement, Brenda concentrated on what was most important to her, her family and her home. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. Brenda enjoyed helping her husband, Wayne, on their farm where she raised chickens, goats and a beautiful garden every year. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed hosting family and friends for delicious country meals. Brenda cherished every moment she could spend taking care of and feeding those she loved. Some of her favorite times were holidays, because she knew her home would be filled with those she cared most for. Her love and generosity extended beyond those she knew. If a stranger showed up to her home, she always made sure they left with a full belly and a gift. Brenda loved taking family vacations and especially enjoyed spending time at the coast in the Beaufort and Port Royal area. She was a devoted wife and mother and an adoring grandmother. Brenda's memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved, bringing comfort to them through the love and commitment she shown them.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Timothy Setzer officiating

VISITATION: Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
