KINGS MOUNTAIN-Brenda McFalls Ross, 69, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 at her home.
Born in Cleveland County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Loyd McFalls and Etta McFalls Parton and Charles Parton. A member of Grace United Methodist Church, Kings Mountain where she held positions on several church committees, she was former member of the Kings Mountain City Council, and she was a retired executive secretary with Grover Industries. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who loved and adored her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Grams". She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Jerry Ross, of the home, son; Tim Ross and wife Debbie, of Kings Mountain, daughters; Toni Ross Putman of Kings Mountain, Tammy Thornburg and husband, Lanny, Kings Mountain, brother; Bobby McFalls and wife Shirley of Charlotte, grandchildren; Ross Ellis and special friend Meredith Walker, Brian Thornburg and wife Crystal, Ansley Putman Anderson "Andy" Putman, Tyler Ross, Tanner Ross, Tiffany Ross.
Visitation: The family will receive friends, Saturday, Aug. 14, 9:30?10:30 a.m.
