DATELINE:  KINGS MOUNTAIN, NORTH CAROLINA Brenda Fay Short Brenda Fay Short, 63, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on July 20, 2018 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC.  Born in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Edward Jerry Burton and Thelma Faith Bullock Burton and was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Donald Ray Short. Brenda enjoyed gardening and taking vacations to the beach. She was a loving grandmother who loved spending time with her grandchildren. Brenda will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
