Alan Bruce Carscaddon

Alan Bruce Carscaddon, 73, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on February 10, 2026 at his home. He was born June 20, 1952 in Buncombe County, NC, son of the late Alan and Penelope Reese Carscaddon. Bruce possessed a gentle soul and was loved by everyone who knew him. Bruce played the piano by ear. Blind from birth, he was never able to see music, but was an accomplished musician and singer. He loved spending time outdoors and sitting on the porch enjoying the fresh air. The memories of Bruce will live on in the hearts and minds of all those who loved him.

The family will hold a service to celebrate Bruce's life at a later date.
