- Burdina Wells Bumgardner, age 95, a resident of 402 Maner Road, Kings Mountain, NC, died Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Brian Center, Gastonia, NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. to the late Francis Vane and Mamie Compton Wells and was preceded in death by her husband, John Henderson Bumgardner and son Johnny Bumgardner as well as six sisters and two brothers. She was a member of First Baptist Church and graduated from Bethany High School in Clover, SC.
