Calvin Monroe Cash, 79 formerly of Forest City, NC, passed away on November 18, 2020 at his home in Shelby, NC. Calvin was born in Rutherford County, NC, son of the late Dugar and Evylan Hollifield Cash and was preceded in death by his wife of over forty-five years, Elizabeth Lovelace Cash, a step-son, Buddy Merck, and a brother, George Cash. Calvin worked as a weaver for MasterCraft for many years. In his spare time, Calvin enjoyed fishing and was an avid animal lover. Always a nice man, Calvin was a very humble and loving person. His kindness was an inspiration to everyone he met. His absence will be missed greatly by his loving friends and family.

Step-children: Jerry Merck, Debby Mills, Donna Martin and Michael Merck Brothers: Carl Cash of Winston Salem, NC, John Cash of Honeyapath, SC, Guy Cash of Sandymush, NC and David Cash of Alabama
