Carl Franklin Fowler

Carl Franklin Fowler, 69, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on June 16, 2025 at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC. Born July 16, 1955 in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of the late Billy and Nancy Mattox Fowler and was also preceded in death by his sisters Rebecca and Debbie. Carl served his country honorably with the U.S. Air Force and retired after working for many years as a maintenance team lead with Freightliner. Carl served as a true role model for his family: a hard worker who loved his family and was an exemplary dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

SURVIVORS: Children: Shanna Withers (Ty) of Kings Mountain, and C.J. Fowler of Gastonia, NC

Grandchildren: Tyler Withers (Katelyn), Cooper Fowler, Conner Fowler, and Cora Fowler

Great-Grandchildren: Madelyn Withers

No services will be held, in accordance with Carl's wishes.
