Carolyn Bumgardner

CAROLYN BROWN BUMGARDNER - Carolyn Brown Bumgardner, age 74, resident of 109 Central Ave., Bessemer City, died April 19, 2013 at Brian Health Care Center in Gastonia. She was born in Marietta, Ga., daughter of the late Horace W. and Lucille Rampley Brown. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Rev. William P. Bumgardner, a son, Mark D. Absher, a grandson, Jonathan Holland. She was a former employee of Carolina Brush Co., Gastonia and a member of First Baptist Church, Bessemer City.
